Update 2/15/14

Saturday, February 15th, 2014

Lake level is at 604.3 and frozen over everywhere. There is no open water on the lake or below the dam. It has been one long cold winter and we are still in the grips of it, though they are saying we should see a few days of 50’s this week. Best guess around here is the ice could go out about March 10 or so. We will see I guess. The Christmas Tree drop is scheduled for March 22. Anyone interested in helping with that can either call us here at the resort or call the Corp office. We can use help either at the South Fork ramp or at John Spalding ramp. About the only hunting available right now is coyote and crow. This is also a good time to get out shed hunting if you need an excuse for a walk in the woods. We are certainly looking forward to the start of another season.
